Audrey LeMasters, MSW, LCSW, Ph. D

Audrey has worked as a Social Worker in the Peoria area since 1994 and possesses a diverse combination of academic and clinical experiences. Audrey received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois State University with a concentration in cognitive and behavioral psychology. Her Master’s degree was completed through the University of Illinois and focused on the child welfare system and issues of children and adolescents that have experienced trauma from abuse and neglect. In 2009, Audrey completed her PhD in Academic Psychology.

Audrey’s clinical experience began in the Illinois child welfare system working with children in placement exhibiting severe emotional and behavioral issues. After 10 years, Audrey became the clinical coordinator for the OSF Partial Hospitalization Program. This is a stabilization program that provides intensive therapeutic services to adults at risk of hospitalization. In this position, Audrey provided clinical supervision to staff as well as clinical services to adults suffering from mood and anxiety disorders. Before launching Edge Counseling & Wellness, Audrey most recently worked for Associates in Mental Health.

Audrey enjoys the opportunity to work with a diverse population including adults, families, couples, and children in both individual and group dynamics experiencing a variety of mental health issues. Audrey worked part time at the Heart of Illinois HIV/AIDS clinic at the University of Illinois College of Medicine from 2002 until 2010, providing services as well as supervision for Social Work students.

Ashley McMurtry, Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC

Ashley firmly believes in the power of an open mind and empathetic heart, both of which direct her as she strives to deliver compassion and guidance to those who are stuck in their growth process. While completing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Bradley University, Ashley had the pleasure of providing outpatient and partial hospitalization services to adults. Among the concerns treated were mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, and interpersonal relationships for individuals and groups alike.This experience has prepared her well to serve a diverse clientele in a private practice setting within her hometown community of Peoria.

Recognizing you as the expert of your lived experiences, Ashley uses a client-centered approach that allows you to guide her in the formation of a mutually agreed upon plan to meet you where you are at. Ashley cares as deeply about your successes and strengths as she does your concerns. She endeavors to help you reconnect with your internal source of healing and best version of you. Her expertise lies with treating adults for mood disorders and trauma.

Ashley particularly enjoys utilizing Internal Family systems (IFS) approaches. This form of therapy views the self as multiple and entails identifying the different “parts” of you, getting to know them better, and developing stronger internal relationships with and between them. You will learn how to tap into your natural ability for self-curiosity and mental/emotional healing.

In her free time, Ashley approaches her life with an appreciation for the holistic wellness she ventures to inspire in others. She appreciates art, imagination, and creativity. In her free time, Ashley practices wellness through gratitude practices, outdoor walks with her dogs, playing the ukulele, watching movies, and crocheting.

Devon Atkins, LPC

Devon received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bradley University, with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. She also received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. Devon has clinical experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders in PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. This clinical experience also included providing services for a variety of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, and interpersonal issues.

Devon utilizes a strengths-based and client-centered approach, influenced by acceptance and commitment Therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Devon believes that we all develop and possess our own unique stories that give our lives meaning. We are each the authors and experts of our own stories, but sometimes we can get stuck in stories that restrict our growth and possibilities for a life we find meaningful and aligned with what we value. Devon strives to provide a safe and non-judgmental place for clients to explore those stories and to rewrite them so that they better support the individual’s goals and values, empowering clients to live out those values in a meaningful way.

Emerick Fulton, LPC

Emerick holds a Master’s degree from Bradley University and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), certified by the NBCC. He is HeartMath certified, trained in DBT, and integrates an existential approach and CBT into his therapy.

Emerick is dedicated to creating a space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. He believes that every individual’s story is unique and works to understand each client’s journey in order to help them find their purpose. Using an existential approach, he guides clients in exploring meaning, identity, and personal growth. He also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge negative thought patterns and build healthier perspectives. He is HeartMath certified and uses these techniques along with EmWave Pro technology to assist clients in managing emotions and developing self-regulation. Together, they work toward a path of fulfillment and emotional well-being.

Passionate about working with a diverse range of clients, he believes healthy communication is essential to mental well-being. Whether helping clients speak more kindly to themselves or fostering deeper, more empathetic conversations with others, he believes improving our internal dialogue leads to healthier external relationships.

Olivia Ruff, LPC

Olivia received her Bachelor’s in Psychology/Pre-Med from the University of Illinois at Springfield and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. Olivia has clinical experience working with various populations; military, correctional, and both inpatient/outpatient psych. She served as a member herself for the United States Armed Forces for eight years.

Working with these populations has taught me that there is a strong need for advocacy in the mental health field. This need for advocacy is where I wish to throw my rock in the pond.

Olivia specializes in child/adolescent, and relationship counseling services. She focuses on reality therapy, utilizing the WDEP system to help her clients work towards their future goals. Olivia believes that we always have something in life that we want to achieve, and she enjoys helping her clients find and obtain those goals. Olivia enjoys bouldering, golfing, and keeping close ties to what reminds her of home on the farm – goat yoga.

Kailey Jean Karder, LSW

Hi, I’m Kailey Jean Karder, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels supportive and empowering. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate care to those struggling with various mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, trauma, in addition to relationship issues, communication, and more. I use EMDR in my work. Whether you’re a college student dealing with stress, an adult adjusting to life transitions, or someone simply seeking a safe space to work through personal difficulties, I’m here for you.
In my experience working at OSF Behavioral Health, I’ve had the privilege of helping people find clarity and healing through individual counseling and group therapy. I understand that everyone’s journey is different, and I’m committed to offering a judgment-free, inclusive environment where you can process life circumstances. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals with borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Charne Stoltz, MA

With a clinical background in counseling and a BA Honors degree in Psychology and Sociology from the North West University of South Africa, Charnè has dedicated 14 years to providing counseling services and support to children, adolescents, and their families in various school settings including regular, special, and alternative education. Additionally, Charnè completed her Masters’ degree in Social Work from Grand Canyon University and in this role, she is passionate about providing services to a diverse range of clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues.

Charnè utilizes a strengths-based, solution-focused approach rooted in trauma-informed practices and is deeply committed to supporting clients through adversity, empowering them to unlock their potential and live their most fulfilled lives. She is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they take steps toward resilience and growth.

Amber Parkinson, Practice Manager & Wellness Coordinator

As the Practice Manager and Wellness Coordinator at Edge Counseling & Wellness, Amber blends her passion for organizational efficiency with a deep commitment to holistic well-being. With over 15 years of experience in health and fitness, she utilizes tools such as mindfulness, somatic training, and practicing self-compassion to help individuals find their best, most authentic selves.

Amber’s journey into wellness coaching stemmed from a desire to empower individuals beyond their professional roles. Holding a B.S. in Exercise Science and certifications in personal training and wellness coaching, she specializes in working not only with individuals but also with organizations that prioritize health and wellness.

At Edge Counseling & Wellness, Amber orchestrates seamless office logistics while spearheading wellness initiatives that promote physical vitality, mental clarity, and emotional resilience. From facilitating corporate wellness initiatives to leading mindfulness workshops, her goal is to help unlock each individual’s fullest potential.

Tierra Bracey, MSW Intern

Tierra is an intern enrolled in her Master of Social Work program at Indiana Wesleyan University. Thanks to her MSW program, Tierra has garnered insight into the complex systems that impact mental health, such as structural inequality, family dynamics, societal norms, and so much more. Additionally, she possesses core clinical skills in assessment, reflective practice, and culturally competent care. As an aspiring Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Tierra’s goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment for her clients to feel safe to open up and be vulnerable.  She believes everyone deserves understanding, peace, and grace on their journey to seeking peace and happiness. Tierra is dedicated to helping her clients turn trauma into triumph.

Kristy Murray, MA Intern

Kristy is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern currently pursuing her master’s degree. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is passionate about supporting children and individuals from diverse backgrounds. She values meeting people where they are and creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and encouraging. Her approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and helping others build on their strengths to move forward in meaningful ways. With a strong sense of compassion and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, Kristy is dedicated to helping others grow, heal, and reach their full potential.

Amanda Privitera, Clinical Specialist

As a Clinical Specialist at Edge Counseling and Wellness and a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) at Blank Children’s Hospital STAR Center – Foster CARE Clinic, Amanda provides supervision to providers working toward their certification while specializing in delivering outpatient therapy and vital support services to children and families affected by complex trauma within the foster care system or who have experienced other adverse childhood experiences. With over 10 years of dedicated experience in child welfare and behavioral health, Amanda holds certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while actively pursuing certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her therapeutic approach is characterized by a blend of warmth, humor, and compassion, creating a nurturing environment for healing.

Beyond professional commitments, Amanda finds fulfillment in spending time with her husband and friends, caring for three rescue dogs, and tending to her 150+ house plants, fostering a well-rounded and enriching life beyond the therapy room.
